The new Subaru WRX TR

The Subaru WRX is a special vehicle for a lot of people. Whether you are a rally fan or just love the good old days of racing with the Subaru Impreza Rally Edition car in the first-ever Gran Turismo. New for 2024 is a special version of the latest WRX called the TR. The WRX TR is, as Subaru says, a “new performance-focused” WRX. Subaru debuted the new TR at Subiefest Florida at Daytona International Speedway on October 7th.

New Brakes

The 2024 WRX TR features 6-piston front and 2-piston rear Brembo brakes with red calipers. The new brakes employ larger rotors, pads, and brake master cylinder for the best stopping performance.

Suspension & Wheels

With stiffer springs, updated damping rates, optimal body control, steering accuracy, and revised steering for a better road feel. The new 19-inch wheels wrapped in 245/35/R19 Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires will help give drivers even more control and confidence in wet and dry conditions.

The interior will have standard Recaro black and gray Ultrasuede front seats and a moonroof delete for a lower center of gravity and less weight.

Subaru EyeSight

For the first time, EyeSight Driver Assist Technology will now be offered as standard on all manual transmission-equipped WRX models, including the TR. EyeSight is an award-winning safety system that includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking System, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.

Active Torque Vectoring is also standard through the WRX line.
