And They Walked Away
This is a true story. Torque News recently published a story about a Florida teenager who survived a massive crash in her 2014 Subaru Crosstrek.
Kenzi loved to swim since she was in kindergarten. She was looking forward to getting on a collegiate Division I swim team to fulfill her dreams. Her first car was the Crosstrek. Kenzi saw the Crosstrek as her vehicle towards obtaining her dreams, the perfect companion to high school and teenage swim championships and everything else a teenager wants to do with her life.
One day, Kenzi was driving along in her Crosstrek. The newly paved road she was driving on had just gotten fresh oil. All of a sudden, she slid off the road, flipped three times, and hit a tree. The Crosstrek was a total wreck. Kenzi walked away with just a few scratches.
The Subaru saved her life. Today, Kenzi still swims and is on the path to fulfilling her dreams. She is now the owner of a 2024 Outback Wilderness.
This is not the first story of a Subaru owner walking away from an accident as devastating as Kenzi’s. A recent commercial also showed a family surviving an accident in the Outback. There is another video showing a Florida couple surviving an equally frightening crash in their Outback last year. She survived with a few broken bones and has fully recovered.
Again, the Subaru saved her life.
For decades, Subaru has been building safety and security into every one of its vehicles. Crash tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) proved how structurally sound and well-engineered Subaru vehicles truly are.
Add EyeSight Driver Assist technology to the mix, and your Subaru is beyond safe and secure. It all works time and time again. As it should. Even if you look at ten-year-old Subaru models today, you will find the same engineering and technology that’re found on newer models.
However, it all comes down to you. If your driving-age child wants a safe, secure, and reliable vehicle, there is nothing wrong with a pre-owned Subaru. Of course, adding a fresh set of factory warranties and the latest safety engineering and technology of a new Subaru would absolutely be a good choice. New or used, there’s a peace of mind that comes with a high quality, reliable, and comfortable vehicle wearing the Subaru badge.
