​​Introducing the New Electric Three Row 2027 Subaru Getaway SUV​ 

Subaru continues to expand its electric vehicle lineup. It is set to introduce its first three-row model made for families on the go, while skipping the gas pump. The 2027 Subaru Getaway will arrive later this year with the largest cabin space and the most powerful driveline – both milestones for the brand. It will also be the first Subaru EV assembled in the U.S.A.  

The seven-passenger Getaway is powered by a dual-motor driveline with Symmetrical all-wheel drive. Putting down 420 horsepower, it is even quicker than the WRX with an estimated 0-60 MPH sprint time of less than five seconds.  

The 2027 Getaway also has the prowess you want to travel on the highway to the ranch house or campground, especially with a ground clearance of 8.3 inches. That includes standard dual-mode X-MODE traction assistance. Plus, it has a maximum tow rating of 3,500 pounds.  

Recharging the 2027 Getaway is a choice between a 77.0-kilowatt-hour or 95.8-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Either one can be plugged in using a native North American Charging Standard (NACS) port. Choosing the larger battery can get you a range of more than 300 miles. It will also enable you to return energy at a rate of 150-kilowatts from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes. Standard is an on-board battery preconditioning system that maintains optimal pack performance down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit.  

This is all wrapped up in a handsome exterior that offers greater access to the cabin. That includes Subaru’s next-generation EV styling, found on the Solterra, Trailseeker, and Uncharted. The 2027 Getaway comes standard with robust roof rails to handle more loads on top of the vehicle. You do have a choice of 19- or 20-inch wheels, depending on the trim you select.  

Once inside, the driver is treated to a spacious place with six other passengers. The cockpit has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.0-inch Subaru Multimedia touchscreen. This serves as a hub for connectivity, including wireless smartphone mirroring. The 2027 Getaway comes in a standard seven-passenger seating with a second-row bench seat or a pair of captain’s chairs in the middle row. Also, a panoramic sunroof opens up the skies for everyone on board.
