Subaru Ascent Gets a Makeover for 2023

The latest Subaru Ascent got a makeover for 2023 with new features and design details. Its redesigned exterior features a newer, bolder style to better match the 8-passenger interior. New Design Features

When you look at the 2023 Ascent, the first thing you’ll notice is the fully upgraded exterior. A larger bumper makes way for lower-edge air ducts, all accented by a larger grille topped off with side-wrapping LED headlights. The headlights are powered by a Steering Response system with high-beam assist, making driving at night safer and more intuitive. More LED lights are found at the rear, with new c-shaped taillights for improved visibility with longevity. However, no changes have been made to the engine, with one optional available across all trims: the 2.4L Turbocharged Subaru BOXER.

Safety and Convenience

To add to the Ascent’s luxurious feeling, more safety and convenience features are included than in previous versions. For example, an 11.6-inch STARLINK Multimedia System is now standard at every trim level, and all are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Surround-View Camera offers a true 360 view of all areas surrounding the Ascent, including overhead. In addition to the camera is EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, which provides the highest safety IIHS ratings. Features like Lane Keep Assist and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control are designed to be there as a backup and provide an extra set of eyes on the road.

2023 Subaru Ascent Trims

Eight trims are available for the Ascent, including an all-new addition: the Onyx Edition Limited. Other options are: Base, Premium 8-Passenger, Premium 7-Passenger, Onyx Edition, Limited 7-Passenger, Limited 8-Passenger, and the Touring. The Onyx Edition Limited comes with a few extra features like X-MODE with Hill Descent Control, 20-inch Aluminum Alloy Wheels in Black Finish, and exclusive exterior features.
