Subaru Share The Love Event

Time after time, Subaru shares the love with the Subaru Love Promise program and its many donations to charities.  Now, Ewing Subaru of Plano wishes to inform you that the 2023 Subaru Share the Love Event is intended to raise $29 million by the year’s end.

The primary national charities Subaru supports are:

  • The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®)
  • Make-A-Wish®
  • Meals on Wheels America
  • The National Park Foundation

In addition, Subaru contributes to over 800 local charities, chosen by dealers such as Ewing Subaru of Plano.

Make a Wish and the Subaru Loves Event

“Giving back in a significant way through the Subaru Share the Love Event is integral to fostering personal and community connections for our retailers and customers alike,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Subaru of America, Inc. “With conscious intention, we are working to support worthy causes across the country in actionable ways that demonstrate how Subaru is More Than a Car Company® and our retailers are More Than a Car Dealer.”

The campaign began in mid-November with two national television spots, as well as digital video and social media platforms.  Set to the song “Love Is All Around,” the title of this year’s campaign is Love Is All Around and highlights the impact made on each of the Subaru Share the Love Event national charity partners.  The second spot, Hometown, celebrates Subaru retailers’ dedication to supporting causes that matter most to its customers. Paid media partners include NBC, CBS, YouTube, and more.

Spanish-language translated versions of the 0:30 and 0:15 advertising spots will run on Univision, Telemundo, and UniMas.

Subaru also kicked off the campaign on November 16th with a sizable annual employee volunteer event held at Subaru of America headquarters in Camden, NJ and additional locations across the country. Hundreds of Subaru employees will participate in volunteer projects supporting local nonprofits that benefit children facing food insecurity, people entering or reentering the workforce, families in transition to new housing, and students learning STEM education.

A primary form of fundraising has Subaru donating $250 for every new Subaru model sold between November 16th and January 2nd. In addition, dealers can select up to two hometown charities in their local communities to receive at least an additional $50 for each vehicle sold or leased. Ewing Subaru of Plano’s chosen primary charitable organizations are the Take Me Home Rescue|Dallas Pets Alive|Rocky Road Refuge as part of the Subaru Loves Pets campaign and the Susan G. Komen North Texas |Genesis Women’s Shelter|Living for Zachary|Casa of Collin County as part of the Subaru Loves to Help campaign. Even the Service Center gets into the act with $5 donated for every routine service that occurs during the campaign period.
