Subaru Outback Gets a Refresh

May 25th, 2022 by

The Subaru Outback has been one of the most popular car models on the market for a little less than twenty years. Its rugged capabilities combined with standard symmetrical all-wheel drive make it the perfect vehicle for both off-road outdoorsman and families alike. In the 2023 model year, you can expect your Subaru Outback to have quite a few upgrades, giving it a little refresh, starting around $29,000.

Your 2023 Outback will feature an all-new grille design coupled with a newly upgraded and updated bumper. The LED headlights and fog lights have been redesigned to emphasize the front fascia and new cladding on the wheel wells lend to a more rugged and adventurous exterior appearance.

While the front fascia and the exterior accoutrements are huge news for the iconic SUV, the bigger news is the Onyx Edition. Updated for 2023, the Onyx Edition debuted at the New York International Auto Show and showed fans of the brand exactly what to expect from the Subaru Outback for the coming year.

The Onyx Edition of the 2023 Outback gives you a new power option, a 2.5L naturally aspirated SUBARU BOXER engine. The black-on-black wheels and specialized badging give the Outback a distinctive appearance to set you apart, while a hands-free liftgate and front view monitor expand on safety and convenience features. In addition, you will easily relax in the gray toned interior, featuring water repellant StarTex.

The 2023 Outback will be available in six trim levels; Base, Premium, Onyx Edition, Wilderness, Limited, and Touring. The Touring models will come standard with the all-new Wide-Angle mono cameras, adding to your standard Eyesight safety package.
