Subaru WinterFest Kicks Off 2022 Season

Here in the Metroplex, winter is usually an occasional drop in temperatures, some ice or cold rain, and maybe some snow. We really don’t have any mountains or ski slopes for us to enjoy.

For those of us who travel, it is time to get away and party with your fellow Subaru owners and fans at WinterFest!

The Subaru WinterFest is a celebration of music and mountain lifestyle. The tour stops at key ski resorts the mountains have to offer. From Vermont to California, WinterFest offers many experiences for snowboarders, skiers, music fans and dog lovers alike.

This year’s tour theme focuses on the new Outback and Forester Wilderness models. These trail-ready vehicles set the stage for music acts, such as Dawes, Tramples By Turtles, Twiddle, The Ghost of Paul Revere, and many more. Subaru’s premium audio partner Harmon Kardon will also set up a custom satellite pop-up stage built from a 1999 Subaru Sambar – a kei-class van sold back in Japan.

Tour goers will also experience ways to live sustainably for a better environment. Organizations, such as Klean Kanteen, TerraCycle, and Leave No Trace will be on site to support and inspire sustainable living practices for the tour’s guests and their travel companions. Also, the National Ski Patrol will have their avalanche rescue dogs on hand.

For the best in outdoor gear, companies such as Mammut, Nordica, Thule, Arbor Collective and Dynamic Wax will be on hand with product demonstrations and exhibits. You will also enjoy great treats from Alpine Start, Kate’s Real Food and more food and drink vendors.

The Subaru WinterFest 2022 will kick off on February 11 at the Killington Mountain Resort in Vermont. Continuing the tour into Colorado with two stops: Eldora Mountain on March 4 and Copper Mountain Resort on March 11. Further stops will be made in California, Utah, and Oregon. The tour ends on April 16.
