The 2024 Subaru BRZ brings joy to anyone who drives it, whether on a Sunday cruise, a cross-country journey, as a daily driver, or, better yet, at a race track. Since debuting in 2013, the BRZ has made the Car and Driver 10Best list four times, including three in a row from 2022 to 2024. It’s basically impossible that a car with a starting MSRP of just $30,195 can be talked about in the same breath as a new Porsche or BMW M car, yet here is the BRZ able to do just that. The BRZ has a 2.4-liter BOXER 4-cylinder that produces 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can choose either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.

The Car and Driver 10Best list has been around since 1983 and showcases the best vehicles in all categories, including EVs, hybrids, sports cars, sedans, SUVs, and trucks, among others. Each car tested must have a base price of less than $110,000 to be eligible as a 10Best car.

Trim Levels

The 2024 Subaru BRZ comes standard with the award-winning Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, even on models equipped with a manual transmission. Three trim levels are offered, including Premium, Limited, and the brand new unique tS with upgraded Brembo brakes, STI-tuned Hitachi dampers front and rear, as well as special badging and trim featured on the interior and exterior.
